It's Sunday.
The sun is shining bright.
I'm in a good mood, and to top things off, the Bunnies are away, which means a couple hours just for myself.
Brilliant.
It was a good week.
I laughed, I exercised, I went on adventures, I met family and friends, I had sex, I worked, I ate good, I slept (quite) well, I meditated, I danced, I felt, gave and received LOVE.
ALL good.
There's still so much I don't know.
Where we're gonna be a month from now?
What job will I be doing?
How will we manage to make all the big changes work?
I'm done anxiously shaking, though.
Whatever's coming, I got this.
Let's not allow the fear of the future take away from the joy of now.
Instead, I'm investing my whole bodily self into the stream of current happenings.
There's so many beautiful moments playing out in front of my eyes.
It would be a shame if I missed them.
Let's take this Friday and Saturday as an example.
Amazing things (Friday):
☆ Grzesiek & Sandy first farewell
Our bestest (xD) friends are leaving for 5+ months.
I'm happy for them, I know they're gonna have an amazing time.
But I will miss them.
Dearly.
I wouldn't let them go without a proper goodbye!
Wisniówka bigshots, Elektryków retiree party, freestyle football show, vuse & abuse, the Kingly Breakfast @ Chleb i Wino, common Polish plans & ideas, strolling the old town, securing another Warsaw meetup (uff…), slight dick cut-off drama, Emily in Paris review panel, Mimi joining, crazy architects duo, music school last deep talks, and whole lotta love.
BFFs.
☆ Grant deal done + Łąka.bar celebratory dinner.
Yes sir, the big stressor is all gone.
We made it!
Nati, Papa, Mr. M, nice ladies & everyone else involed → thank you for allowing this game changer to happen.
I know how much it all cost.
I'm forever grateful!
And what is due when a big deal like this closes?
A fancy dinner!
I'm rating this expense a solid 9/10.
The vibe between Nati & me - immaculate.
Korean vegan kluski - made me shiver
Kombucha on tap - suprisingly good
Interior design + location - loved it
-1 point for the Nam Bo salad - way too ordinary.
☆ Douglas / KFD shopping Mania
Nati finally had time to use her Nameday gift, and boy IT DID BRING HER JOY!
I don't know how one could spend 1h20 choosing cremẽs, but if that makes her happy...
I did enjoy some shopping too.
Protein + Omega + Magnesium (Under 3 minutes from stepping foot inside the shop till bought & packed = my material sources of joy
☆ Invoice paid = we're not (that) poor anymore
Oh, what a relief.
It's still not enoughto eradicate my financial stress, but at least we're not below the poverty line anymore.
Poznań thank you (and ofc Nati and her hard work)
☆ Warsaw next week
We're coming!!!
(My hair will finally look good again...)
☆ Grannies taking over Hugo
Thank you!
Amazing things (Saturday):
☆ First half of the day with Grzesieks
Discussed in detail earlier.
I will only highlight again how great the breakfast and walk were.
☆ Tesoro Trocha Treasure Time
The best all-family restaurant meetup since Hugo was born.
Strictly delightful.
What made it so special?
Hugo played on the playground (alone!) and for the first time ever, we could actually enjoy our meals and company.
Fellow parents, there's hope!
On a more serious note, I'm appreciating every moment I have with my moms, pops and Mimi.
I don't know how our life will play out, so I'm treating every opportunity to spend time together as a gift!
Also - everybody was in good moods, and the food was great (no limits day!)
Loved it.
♡ Beach afternoon - Nati, Hugo, I
A great way to (almost) end the day!
I even caught a short nap (I still consider beach naps as the pinnacle of human existence).
♡ Taylor Swift Netflix & Chill
Call it primitive entertainment, I still love our shared screen time!
It didn't even hurt that much that I've seen this movie before (probably very high, cause I remembered only snippets)
♡ The easygoingness
This weekend reminded me how light & awesome life can feel.
My intention is to carry this joyful spirit, the carelessness into the coming week.
Especially with everything that's on my way...
